You're in Control

We've made it easy for you to reset your network password or unlock your network account. It's as simple as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Make our self-help CHI Easy Access tools your first choice—they're easy to use and you'll be on your way quickly.
  2. If you need to call the ITS Service Desk, we'll need to confirm your identity before we assist you. Here's what to expect:
    • The agent helping you will first use our Secure Remote Access two-factor authentication tool to verify your identity. You'll need to be registered to use this tool, and follow the agent's instructions to complete two-factor authentication.
    • Not enrolled in Secure Remote Access? You'll be asked to answer two of these questions: network username; last four digits of Social Security Number; and month and day of hire.
    • Can't answer the questions? The agent will contact your manager, who can provide a PIN so you can get the assistance you need.

With CHI Easy Access, you can reset your network password or unlock your network account from your work computer's sign-in screen or your Tap & Go workstation login screen.

Registration is quick and easy.  See the instructions below and click the Register Now button when you're ready to get started.

As a bonus, when you register for CHI Easy Access, you'll automatically be signed up for the My IT Support portal, available here, and the My IT Support mobile app. Use these tools to:

CHI Easy Access is powered by Okta, a leader in identity management technology.


Register Now

Steps:

  1. Click the Register Now button to access the registration screen.
  2. Enter your CHI or market-based email address or network account username under username.
  3. Enter your network password under password.
  4. Click Sign in.
  5. When prompted, enter a secondary email address you will be able to get to if you are unable to access your network account.
  6. Choose a Forgot Password security question and provide the answer.
  7. In the next section, click Add Phone Number.
  8. Enter a mobile phone number to receive a code via text to continue the registration process. Click Send Code.
  9. You will receive a text message with a code. Enter the code and click Verify.
  10. You'll see a message that your phone number was successfully verified. Click Done.
  11. You'll see an additional confirmation message.
  12. On the next screen, select a security image and click Create My Account.
  13. You will have the option to enter a voice phone number to use to reset your password. You may select Remind Me Later.
  14. Your CHI Easy Access registration is complete and you'll see a screen with icons for tools you have access to, including My IT Support and Duo, our Secure Remote Access two-factor authentication tool.
  15. If you haven't already, you are strongly encouraged to complete one-time registration for Secure Remote Access. Just click the Duo icon to get started.
    1. You must be on the CHI network to enroll (at a facility or on VPN).
    2. Secure Remote Access provides an extra layer of security for you and our patients.
    3. Once registered for Secure Remote Access, you'll have access to CHI systems from off our network AND be able to verify your identity should you ever need to call the ITS Service Desk for network password reset or network account unlock assistance.

Now you're all set to use CHI Easy Access to unlock your network account or reset/change your network password. Just click the links on your work computer's sign-in screen or your Tap & Go sign-in screen.


Texas Division users:

Starting April 24 you may register for CHI Easy Access and My IT Support/ServiceNow. Please use our Texas-specific job aid How to Register to complete registration. Most Texas users will need to register their national accounts to access Texas Division My IT Support. You may also register your local market account to use the CHI Easy Access password reset and account unlock tools with that account.
